For the past few weeks, I‘ve been working on a fanart and a fanfic for an idea about how Shadow‘s resurrection for a fix-it fic could go to be posted at the same time and y‘all, it‘s FINALLY DONE.

Below, the complete art with signature and everything (I think this is the first time I‘ve really signed art. It‘s oddly thrilling.) as well as a version without Miss Fairy and Shadow, since I think it looks kinda cool, like a bruise. It was also the easiest thing to do, since I knew from the beginning it would be blurred. Lighting was a different question, though, because I never really do much of that, let alone two light sources with different colours. No that I look at it, I really should‘ve done a higher contrast, but oh well.

How are the magic wands of the magic users of the Ever Realm able to bend without breaking the magic crystals they contain at their core?

I have two hypotheses:

The magical crystals used inside the wands are crushed into powder, and then placed inside their core. Like the phosphorus powder inside fluorescent lamps.

Or, the magic crystal is in a state of matter called liquid crystal, which is between the solid and liquid state and is capable of rearranging its particles through electrical charges. And the electrical charges in this case would be the effect of the magic itself passing from the magic user through the wand to the performance of a spell.

My headcanon is that Cosmo used to do the suave debonair voice because he's insecure that his normal voice is too girly but eventually it was like "Dude everyone you talk to is a fairy or the boy whose parents bought girl clothes for as a kid, no one's gonna make fun of you" and he loosened up and stopped doing the voice.
